Back to NewsCrestwood - Metlifecare Retirement Village recently decided to upgrade their pool heating. Frequent faults and overall performance of the existing heat pumps resulted in low water temperatures and subsequently less usage by patrons.
Hot Water Heat Pumps Ltd were able to provide one heat pump suitably sized to meet the heating requirements. Additionally the existing pipe work has been insulated to further reduce heat losses.
Ken Ingle from Metlifecare has commented that the pool temperatures have been stable now. He reports, "residents are very happy with the extra warmth. Word is getting round the community and there are more swimmers who are enjoying the pool for longer".
